From 1992 until 2001 Steve Lovitt and his 3KYDD Motorsports Team competed in the Northwest Modified Racing Series. After 17 years of racing, winning two Mini Indy Northwest Challenge Series Championships, many race wins, a few crashes, and finishing high in the Northwest Modifieds point standings, Steve decided to take a break at the end of the 2001 season.

Steve was honored to have great sponsors such as Miller Brewing Company, Wilbur Ellis, Sherwin Williams, Devine Hay and the great help from pit crew mambers Don Coppock and Tom Price. The pictures to the right are starting from the latest in 2001 to the first modified in 1992.
